                                                             Trip Registration

It has been decided, because of the length of the trip, we will give you the dates, let you decide how long you can stay, or where you want to join the group. In view of the fact, that we will be leaving from many different places, and not traveling together from the states to Italy, that it would be best for you to make your own arrangements for your flights. Della and I will be flying out of Atlanta to Venice the 25th of March, and back from Rome either the 4th or 5th of April. If you want to join us let Liz Pullum or me know. We can get your airline tickets or give you our flight numbers so you can get your own.

The cost of the Hotels will average $225 for a double room. A single room would be the same price. You can see by the letter from Sister Brunella that we will not have the names of the Hotels until after the 1st of the year. You who have traveled to Europe know that the first class hotels are not always as good as our 1st class hotels. Each chapter we visit will make reservations for us and they will need your credit card number to secure the room.

Be prepared to pay for your meals with EUROs or American dollars. A lot of the restaurants will not take credit cards.

The transportation will be pro-rated, and as you can see from the attached letter this will be figured when we get there and must be paid in CASH on arrival. I would suggest you carry at least $500.00 in cash, and if more is needed there are ATM's.

I want to remind you that most credit cards charge YOU a 3% charge for using your card anywhere overseas, so be sure to check with your card company for the exact charge, this will aslo alert your company that you will be using it at various places overseas.

Please let Sister Liz or me know your schedule, even though you are taking care of the arrangements yourself. We will have to notify Sister Brunella of your arrival.

I'm sorry this has, for all practical purposes, been out of the hands of a travel agent, but we will act as the go between, and do everything we possibly can to assist you.

Fraternally,

Haskell Clark
