As OES, we use our hands to help; Service dogs use their hearts to heal.

We know that we can’t change our world, but we have the ability to help others navigate their world through the assistance of a service dog. The need is great, and the wait lists can be long for these dogs. We can, with your support, bring service dogs into the lives of those that need them most and to provide an increased confidence and independence, that we take for granted.

Each jurisdiction is unique, just as each client’s need for assistance is unique. As members of Eastern Star, we can choose which Service Dogs Organization we support in our own state/province.

By endorsing Service Dogs as our primary, permanent charitable project of the Order of the Eastern Star, this allows our good works to shine in the spotlight as brightly as the Stars above.

Together, we are serving mankind in a unique way by bringing help to those who will and can achieve independence, and by advancing the human spirit.
